This is a ring that was created by New York Jeweler and Philanthropist Clyde Duneier. Clyde worked for his father's jewelry business and then opened his own jewelry company in 1969. He created a name for his new company by providing quality fashion jewelry to the original Home Shopping Channel. Duneier was also responsible for the formation of The Plumb Club, a coalition of leading jewelry manufacturers, and under his leadership, Clyde Duneier Inc. founded the Jewelers Charity Fund in 1983, which started as a fundraising effort for the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation. He was involved with many charities and spearheaded many charitable efforts before his death in 2016.
