Art Deco Sterling Bead Earrings
These hand crafted bead earrings are Art Deco in time period. They are not an exact match as they are hand crafted, so length of wire is a little longer on one than the other. These came to us from New York in an auction of items from an estate. The lady who originally owned them frequented Taxco in the 20's and 30's with a friend of hers who was a jeweler. They are unique in that the closure is a small bead that screws on at the end of the ear wire. I did not take off all of the patina as it adds to it's vintage nature. They are in good condition with very minor wear.
One wire has a small crack that does not hinder it from being worn. This can be fixed easily, but I have chosen not to as many jewelry collectors do not want the older more historical pieces manipulated or refurbished. If you would like these earrings repaired, I will do so at an additional $8 rate. This fee would include silver and labor. Please let me know before check out and I can add that to the final invoice.
