RARE 1920's Dance Rattle Bracelet from Thailand
 
This hand crafted dance rattle from Thailand is magnificent!  It is in good condition with visible wear (light dents).  The intricate detailing is simply beautiful.  These would have been worn low on the forearm during ceremonial dances.  Beads inside were usually made of silver or wood.  This bracelet is sealed so I do not know what type of beads or seeds are inside.  These bracelets belonged to a 1930's fashion editor out of Chicago.  The family believes she originally bought these at an auction in New York around the 1940's.  They are dated at approx 1920's-30's.  I acquired this with a similar dance bracelet that is listed separately in my store.
