Silver Bedouin Wedding Necklace

This necklace is from my private collection.  I purchased it back in 2008 from an estate sale here in Texas.  It is a more modern piece from around the 1980's-1990's.  I have loved every minute wearing this beauty!  Not only is it a showstopper with all it's fine detail work, but the thin blades of silver resonate an almost pixie like sound when in movement.  In excellent condition with NO breaks, cracks or chips to stones and no bends or missing links to the silver.  The metal work is all hand crafted with twists, swirls and braids.  The resin stones are blue with streaks of transparency when the sunlight hits them.  The actual chain length is 18" inches with the total length worn from tip to tip at 28" inches long.  The chain is a unique staggered double cable design.  The main front detail work itself measures 5 1/2" inches from top of blue stones to bottom of flat petals and approx. 3 1/2" inches at the widest section.  The lady who originally purchased this did so on a trip to Egypt.  She traveled to the Middle East many times and always brought back a little piece of jewelry as a memento.  Not only a fantastic piece, but I honestly have only had to polish this twice in all the time I have owned it. I was electroplated once brought back to the states for that exact reason.  It does not tarnish easily at all, which is a big plus.  The owner did not want to endure the task of polishing such a detailed piece.  A perfect gift for that lady who loves incorporating culture diversity in her style.
