Vintage 14k Opal Pendant & Chain by Scalle'
 
This bright white opal is held securely by an eight prong setting and stationary bail.  The chain is original to the pendant and has the gold and maker's mark stamped on the clasp.  The cabochon cut opal has flecks of pink, blue, purple and green when shown in different light.  The color change is mild and at it's best when outside.  There are NO chips or cracks to opal and the chain closure is in perfect working order.  Although, the setting is made out of a nice heft of gold, the necklace and pendant are light enough that it can be worn everyday comfortably.  A very nice gift for a friend or loved one that is not "grandiose" or overstated  It would also make a great birthday, first communion or courting gift for a young lady.  This piece comes to us from New Mexico and is looking for a new home.  Opal's love moisture, but keep away from chemicals that can be found in perfume, cleaners and hairspray.
