1940's Coro Pave' Crystal Fruit Brooch

Beautiful large gold and silver tone crystal fruit brooch by the famed Coro Co.  This amazing brooch has a two layer cage design.  The gold tone textured leaves and segmented cage sit atop a silver tone pave' crystal encrusted layer that are riveted together for sturdy structure. The back pin and latch are silver tone and in perfect working order. The top gold tone layer is polished with NO cracks, chips or breaks. The bottom silver tone layer in excellent condition with NO cracks, chips or breaks.  The "Coro Craft" logo is easily seen and is dated to the early 1940's.  Coro brooches range from $20 upwards of $450 depending on style and rarity.  Coro fruit brooches are very rare as they were created for a short time from around 1941 - 1948. When searching you will see that it is much easier to find designs of bows, flowers and abstracts.
This fantastic brooch would accent a coat, scarf, bag or large BoHo hat nicely.  From the estate of our favorite Aunt Helen, this beauty is now looking for a new home.
