1950's Green Banded Agate Bangle & Stand
Originally purchased in Korea from a young army sergeant named John for his young wife. This bracelet has travel from Korea to Texas, to Germany, Italy and then back to Texas. It has traveled more than most people! In perfect condition as is was kept wrapped in a velvet pouch inside a jewelry box. The stone has a green tone that the camera does not pick up, so please imagine it with a more light green color than is shown. The photos show it as more of a brownish (sorry I tired so hard to capture the natural color, but I just couldn't.) Natural agate stone with white banding that can be seen throughout the bangle. There are a few lines that look like cracks, but they are natural formation lines that do NOT reach the surface and do not hinder the structural integrity. Nice and round this bangle sits atop a carved rosewood stand. It turns this fantastic piece of vintage jewelry into a piece of art! The stand is dark brown with an undertone of red, very light fading to stain with NO cracks, breaks or chips. The perfect gift for that special someone.....and that someone is you.
