Antique Lava Stone Relief Cameo
 
This dark gray lava stone cameo relief is amazing!  The craftsmanship is second to none and just pops with deep intricate lines throughout.  The stone is a shade darker gray than shown in the photos.  I tried so hard to capture the exact color, but it was not possible.  The lovely lady that sits to the center of this pendant / brooch cameo is in very good condition.  Very light wear to her dress and hair and a section of the gold fill frame is missing to the back (please see photos), it is priced accordingly.  The chain loop is stationary and the pin and lock are in perfect working order.  This is an antique hand crafted piece from the late 1800's and would make a beautiful gift for yourself, a special lady or even a gent to wear.  Perfect for a suit coat, ladies fine jacket, as a collar pin or on a hat or bag.  Would also make a perfect "something old" as an accent on a bride's bouquet.

Lava Stone is a grounding stone that strengthens one's connection to Mother Earth.  It gives us strength and courage, allowing us stability through times of change.  It provides guidance and understanding in situations where we may need to "bounce back".
 
A calming stone, it is very useful in dissipating anger.  It promotes positive changes where needed in behavioral issues.  Lava Stone is also used to enhance fertility.
