Antique Shell Cameo Brooch
This hand etched cameo is over 100 years old and in very good condition! The natural shell face depicts a lady dressed in a gown strolling by a cottage with bushed, grass and a full topped tree. A town can be seen in the distance to the right hand side. A 12k yellow gold rope accent sits a top an 800 silver frame. Curl latch and pin arm are in perfect working order. Very light wear from age with NO cracks or breaks to the cameo or the metal work. Some very light natural pitting to the shell crevasses can be seen under 10x magnification. The craftsmanship looks to be Italian. A beautiful gift for a loved one to celebrate an recent move, transition in life or as a token of love and affection.
