Artisan Wood Duck Feather Brooch
 
The craftsmanship alone is worth owning this beautiful brooch.  This artisan piece comes to us from New Mexico.  The wood looks to be white pine and the back latch and pin are silver tone and in perfect working order.  So light and comfortable to wear all day, it will not tug on your sweater or shirt.  The wood has been beautifully etched and hand painted with brown paint to resemble a duck feather.  In excellent condition with NO breaks, chips or cracks.  The back of brooch has the artisan name "William Rogers Jennings", and "Wood Duck" written in ink.  This is such a great piece that can be enjoyed by a lady or gent.  Another one of Aunt Virginia's lovely pieces that is looking for a new home.
