Heavy Sterling Silver Art Deco Thai Wedding Anklet
 
Hand crafted sterling wedding anklet.  Make a statement when walking barefoot along the beach or use as a ceremonial tradition for your wedding.  These can also be used as dance anklets as the design allows for a beautiful rhythmic sound when worn.  In good condition, this anklet is only missing one link bead that is not easily seen (please view pictures).  Originally from Thailand, this piece was picked up by a 1930's fashion designer while on vacation.  She purchased the item for an editorial on Eastern ceremonial wear.  Being very fashion forward she chose to wear this anklet when she married her husband in the mid 30's (she was of German / English decent and thought that the tradition of a wedding anklet was beautiful, even though it was not of her family's culture.)
