RARE 1950's Multi Shell Butterfly Pin
 
A true Retro hand crafted piece!  Beautiful salmon, coral and maroon dyed shell fragments create the most amazing textured wings that envelope a natural cream colored auger shell to the center.  It was painstakingly created by layering each shell fragment atop another.  With a clear hard resin baker that holds a pin and lock in place.  There is tarnish to the metal lock from age, but it is in excellent working order.  Absolutely NO breaks or chips to the shells.  Would make a perfect gift for that vintage loving lady or gent in your life.  Celebrate a baptism, Easter, Bar & Bat Mitzvah, Wedding, Funeral, Graduation or Life Event with this unique artisan piece.  Can be worn a top a coat, sweater, hat or collar.  I would not recommend placing on a bag or area of clothing that is prone to a lot of exposure as this piece is created out of natural shell.  All the way from New Mexico in hopes of finding a new forever home.
