This beautiful 1920s locket features a delicate floral garden design on both the front and back. The accompanying peanut chain is in excellent condition, with no missing links or jagged edges. Both the twist barrel clasp and the locket snap are in perfect working order, securely holding the chain closed and keeping the locket’s contents safe.
Crafted shortly after World War I, the necklace is made of nickel rather than silver—a common choice during that time due to the scarcity of precious metals. This piece comes from a Texas estate and includes the original photo of a lovely, bob-haired lady. The photo was originally glued inside the locket but has since come loose (please see photos for details).
Charming and versatile, this locket and chain are ideal for everyday wear or for adding a vintage touch to a special brunch outing with friends.
