Sterling & Turquoise 1971 Half Dollar Coin Bolo/Pendant
 
This vintage piece can be worn as a pendant or threaded and capped as a bolo tie as was the original purpose.  Perfect for a lady to add that BoHo chic style to her jeans and t-shirt or for a gent as a bolo to jazz up that leather vest.  If you would like to use as a pendant please choose a chain that has an end loop no larger than 3mm, or it will not slide through the back loops.  The chain shown is sold separately.  
This half dollar bolo tie face was custom crafted in the late 1970's specifically to enhance the 1971 coin that sits to the center.  Natural blue and green turquoise most teardrop shaped accent both edges and a semi circle rope pattern sits to both setting edges.  The coin itself has some light scratching and discoloration, but nothing that is large or extremely noticeable.  All the way from Gallup, NM to Texas in search of a new home.
