Vintage Natural Coral Necklace

The hand crafted artisan necklace comes to us from Santa Fe, NM.  Natural red coral with sterling endcaps and link chain.  The vibrant red coral is in very good condition with NO dulling, breaks or missing pieces.  The metal caps have sunbeam designs etched around the cylinders.  You can adjust this necklace to wear as long as 24" to as short as 22" inches.  This item is from around the 1970's and belonged to a wonderful lady named Margaret.  She was of Mexican descent and employed as a state social worker for the state of NM.  She was beloved by everyone in Santa Fe and even adopted a beautiful baby boy who would grow up to be a Archaeologist, with many of his finds housed in area museums and even at the American Pavilion at Disney World.  She passed many years ago and her son David, recently passed this year.  I was lucky enough to have been considered a friend by David and am now trying to find good homes for some of his and his mom's beautiful jewelry items.
